    Rental examples behind the research

Search cards checked 3 November 2026; asking prices and availability need reconfirming. Bedroom counts are inferred from Israeli room counts. Individual detail pages could not be fully inspected.

These links belong to this detailed preview. They are outside Gesher and may change; no listing availability or price is guaranteed.

Before relying on a quote: confirm date, duration, what is included, extra fees, whether a subsidy is conditional, and whether an initial payment is refundable.

    A little preparation.
    A more confident beginning.

This prototype shows the kind of personalized planning Gesher could offer. A secure account, saved plans and a paid service are future work—not features of this preview.

    Your detailed Aliyah questionnaire.

Household choices begin with editable example defaults; income and cash start blank when you first explore your own scenario. Only enter figures you already know. Unknown is okay. Answers stay in this open page and disappear on reload—there is no account or saving.

    01 Your household
    02 Your timing

The cash-flow illustration begins in this month.

    03 A home in Ra’anana

Only sizes with reviewed listing evidence are available in this demo. The budget includes a fixed sample rent reference; actual rents vary.

    04 Work and income timing

A simplified household-wide start date—not a separate employment forecast for each adult.

    05 Income you already know
    Income is in U.S. dollars?

Net income after tax only. We do not calculate gross-to-net or assume benefits.

    06 Your everyday life

Fuel, insurance, licensing/annual test (טסט), maintenance and repairs remain included even when paid off. Loan/lease payments are not assumed: add known payments once under existing commitments.

Assumes one casual family meal each outing: ₪65 per adult and ₪40 per child. Groceries and eating out appear separately. These are illustrative allowances, not surveyed local prices; delivery counts as an outing.

An illustrative ₪250/month for each activity, per child aged 3+. Summer camps and equipment are extra; actual provider prices vary.

07 Care around your working day

The household choice is a default. Choose “No paid care” beside any child kept home. Public core school hours differ from afternoon care; exact school placement depends on birth date and school-year rules.

    Optional: occasional babysitting

Only added when selected. Assumes four hours per evening; weekly choices use 52 weeks ÷ 12 months. No babysitting is inferred from eating out. Uses the founder’s ₪40/hour assumption, not a verified market rate.

    08 Your cash & commitments
Optional: add amounts you already know

A known total for moving, flights, setup or furnishings. Charged once in month one. Exclude refundable deposits and amounts already paid before the starting cash balance.

Only existing obligations outside the local living-cost categories. Do not add the same rent, car running cost or credit-card purchase twice.

A cash allocation, not consumption. Assumes this leaves your accessible spending-cash balance. Blank means pending; enter 0 only for a known zero. Refundable deposits are still outside this prototype.
